This generator checks your keyword against seven built-in category word banks — travel, food, fitness, business, tech, fashion, and art — each with 10 curated hashtags, and pulls in every matching category’s tags if your keyword relates to one of them. If no category matches, it falls back to generating hashtags directly from your keyword (like #yourkeyword, #yourkeywordlife, #dailyyourkeyword) combined with generic popular tags. Either way, five broadly popular hashtags (#love, #instagood, #photooftheday, #beautiful, #happy) are appended, duplicates are removed, and the list is capped at 20 results.

Rather than copying everything at once, you click individual hashtag badges to build your own custom selection — useful since not every generated tag will fit every specific post, and platforms like Instagram reward relevance over sheer hashtag volume. Once you have selected the ones you want, a single copy button grabs your exact custom set as a space-separated string ready to paste.

The tool checks whether your typed keyword contains, or is contained within, one of seven category names, pulling that category’s 10 preset tags if so. This substring-based matching means related but not exact keywords (like "travelling" containing "travel") will still match, while unrelated keywords fall through to a generic keyword-plus-popular-tags fallback that still produces a useful starting set rather than an empty result.
